Who's to blame?

Hey you guys. I found this photo when I was looking at pictures of cats and thought I'd share it with all of you lovelies. Let it soak in.

  1. We exist in society. Society is comprised of "us". But we were shaped into existence by the ideas of those who came before us, piling on ideas about the ideas of those who came before them. This makes up our society. These people that came before us push Society in a direction it was already headed. We continue down the path of least resistance.

It is hard to turn an idea (in society) around, like stopping a car with your hands. Possible? Yeah, but it's going to take a lot of people.

Yes, we are society. We have the power to change society. We have a responsibility to change it.

  2. We're still playing by the rules of a very old game that someone else made up.

  3. CK, you are spot on. Society is a strange, evolving creature with old-school traditional values that have been morphing and changing over time, but we can't forget that it's these values that brought us to where we are today. People complain about sexism, racism, agism, and all other sorts of terrible things but these things can't be fixed overnight. In fact, social change and public outcry need to be in full force for any real changes to be seen in our society. Good points.

  4. But are we accept change as a society? Are people right to try and gather together and use all their force to stop a ford focus? It's possible to change society and we do have the power now how are we going to use or power to make change?
